Oh my gosh! Can you imagine having to walk all thru a hotel like that in NOTHING but your tighty-whities? Everyone he passed could completely see his undies! And then having to walk INTO a crowded lobby and up to the desk IN JUST YOUR UNDERWEAR! And white briefs at that! I would be mortified! Has this really ever happened to anyone?
There is a story on the internet that Nick Carter (Backstreet) told where the band locked him out of the hotel room in just his tighty whities. I have the video somewhere (they "recreated" the scene while Nick told the story with a blonde look-a-like).
Yikes, that would be bad. Did he get caught by anyone? I had kind of the reverse happen to me at a hotel's spa. Had gone for a massage, and was back in the MEN'S lockerroom, relaxing by the hot tub in just my tighty-whities. No big deal, right? It's just guys in there. Well, I guess the massage relaxed me a little too much. I dozed off for a few minutes, and didn't hear the GIRL from the front desk ask "Is everyone decent?" as she came in to collect the dirty towels. All of a sudden I look up, and there's a GIRL standing there with a complete view of me in just my UNDIES!! I think it took my brain a couple several seconds to register the fact that there is a GIRL in the GUY'S lockerroom. I stood up and started to say "What do you need?", but then I realized I'm only in my UNDERWEAR!! I didn't have a towel nearby, so I quickly placed my hands down in front of my briefs to try and cover myself, but it didn't help much. She just looked at me and said, "Oh, I'll just come back later," then she turned around and walked out. I'm sure my face was bright red, as I was totally embarrassed. Just then a guy walked out of the shower wearing only a towel. I said to him, "Did you just see that GIRL come in here?!" He said, "No, that's crazy!" I said, "Yeah, look -- this is all I was wearing" as I gestured down to my underwear. He glanced down to my underwear, and just kind of chuckled as if to say "Ha, sucks to be you for getting caught in your undies!" Crazy.

Last winter, the furnace maintenance man arrived at my house earlier than expected. I was just getting out of the shower when I heard the doorbell. I quickly threw on some undies and ran to answer the door. I only opened the door a few inches -- to ensure it was him, and to NOT expose my undies to the entire neighborhood! He immediately started apologizing for arriving early. "No problem," I said. "I'm actually glad you're early, but you'll have to excuse me ... I just got out of the shower and only in my underwear." "No worries," he said as he barged through the door. "Happens to all of us ... nothing I haven't seen in the lockerroom before." Then he looked down at me, staring right at my briefs and started to laugh. "Ha! I didn't know anyone still wore tighty-whities!!" Suddenly I felt a little embarrassed, standing there in nothing but my undies in front of this strange dude. I think my face turned red, and I tried to casually put my hands down in front of my briefs to cover myself, but it didn't really help much. Basically, my tighty-whities were on full display as I showed him where the thermostat and the door to the basement was. I asked if he needed anything else at the moment, and he just laughed and said "Nope!" So I said, "Well, if you'll excuse me, it's a little cold to be running around the house in my underwear, so I'm going to go finish getting dressed." Crazy.
I don't think he really meant to be rude ... was probably just caught off guard and surprised/shocked to be greeted at the door by some guys in just his tighty-whities! Usually when something like this happens, it doesn't bother me and I'm not too embarrassed (in fact, I almost answered the door in my just my undies last week for my neighbor). I mean, what's the big deal? We're all guys, right? Not like we've never seen another guy in his underwear before! I think my comment back to the maintence guy's remark about me "still wearing tighty whities" was something like, "Uh, sorry ... guess I'm old school."
