I remember that scene and it is pretty lengthy (and I'm pretty sure they were wet - maybe he had gone swimming?). I've tried to find it before with no luck but it will turn up at some point I'm sure.
If he were just capped when facing the camera, it would give the impression of tighty whities. (That's what I thought he was wearing before he turned around.)
