If people ever notice that they comment and I post it and then the comment disappears ... I am not doing that. For some reason some of the comments get deleted and put in the spam folder after I approve them. Every time I check the spam folder there are a few messages there that I had approved and I have to approve them again. So, that is why comments disappear and then show up days later.
