Not tighty-whities, but will certainly do (and god knows, Zac gave us enough tighty-whitey shots in The Paperboy to last a lifetime)! In the movie, they never explain where he gets this underwear: he's picked up stark naked on the beach, then in the next scene, he's waking up in red briefs. Not complaining, mind you...but it's a little strange.

DeleteI think his character plays a pretty straight laced guy, so the briefs are probably meant to symbolize that.
