Adam Presents: Men in Tighty Whities!
1) Brittain Frye (2) Sean Kanan (the dead one) and (3) Scott Fults - "Hide and Go Shriek" - 1987
This is actually a pretty good slasher movie although the ending is a bit homophobic. This being the 80's teens had sex, teens wore briefs, and teens were killed. It was a little more atmospheric than most flicks of it's genre/era. Obviously source materiel is awful .... not sure there is better quality out there though.

ReplyDeleteNice Find, indeed ! I would say there are two different actors in Tighty whities, and a third one in bikini. About the one who is seen dead body in briefs (Sean Kanan). I notice, when he goes out of the bed, just before been killed. He puts on a pants, without underwear. Who did put a briefs on him ;o)

ReplyDeleteThanks for comments and info fellas. And Fren, I was thinking the same thing when I watched the movie ... why the the killer take the time to put underwear on the dead guy (although I am glad he did).
ReplyDeleteI know this site prefers tighty whities, but it was the guy on bed in bikini briefs that I noticed the most as I watched this movie when I was, dunno, 12 or 13. I immediately wanted a pair just like his. (Jockey elance, in fact. The black tag on the left-hand side gives it away.)

ReplyDeleteIn most 80's movies, if a character wore bikini briefs, it was usually the jock or some other popular or muscular guy. I find it interesting that, in this movie, it's the somewhat dorky virgin (who never gets the chance to lose it). Virgins die first, too.

ReplyDeleteHow sad on my part that I remember that character :-(. Saved by the Bell was a pretty cruel show if you weren't one of the "pretty people" .... god help you at Bayside if you were a nerd.
