I always felt this scene was the epitome of how guys behave...example a guy staying over at his buddy's house, getting ready for bed, stripping down to his underwear and neither guy minding. God Bless male bonding. Now if only the other guy stripped to his briefs, as well, would this have been a perfect scene.
You know what else I found interesting and sexy in this scene, is the guy has his t-shirt tucked into his briefs. Main stream marketing of underwear in print ads always had the guy modeling his underwear in this fashion; with his t-shirt tucked into his briefs. Think about all those underwear ads in the Sunday Paper from Jc Penny and such...the guy always wore his t-shirt tucked into his briefs. A practice most commonly worn in the 50's and 60's but started to fade in the 70's and 80's. I thought it was interesting that to make this movie stylistically with in the era it was set in that he wore his t-shirt tucked into his briefs.
