Video's - waste of bandwidth?

I've noted since I first started this site that whenever I post a video it gets about 1/4 the views (if that) of pictures posted, while taking up (obviously) a ton more space. Just curious if people think I should stop with the vids? I know they come out grainy (no matter how good the original source is) and I can't do anything about that. Anyway just thought I would try to get some opinions. I'm not doing this as a poll cause I'm actually kind of interested in why videos get so few hits so I'm hoping for a few comments. Thanks.

    They unfortunately don't work on my iPhone. Maybe if you uploaded them to YouTube and then linked from there? That'd solve the mobile issue and your bandwidth problem.

    I like them, but like the above, they don't work on my iPhone, which is where I often view this site, so I don't bother to look at videos if I am on my iPhone.

      thats interesting .... didn't know they didn't work on iPhone. Just checked and they don't work on iPad either.

    The videos don't play on my iPhone and I rarely use the computer to view the site.

    I also like them, but again, they don't play on my iPad. Could you just post a link to the videos instead? They should automatically open in the app that way.

      The vast majority of the videos I post are uploaded directly from my computer (not sure why they always look like they are from Youtube - think it is a google blogspot thing). If they are from youtube I try to post the link if I still have it (a lot of the videos I have from youtube I have had downloaded on my computer for awhile and don't still have the links to them). The iPhone/ipad issue explains a lot. Probably will just leave things like they are but make more of an effort to link to youtube if I have the link to provide.
