Tom Holland - Spider-Man: Far from Home.

Boxer briefs or briefs? let the debate begin!

  1. Haven't seen the movie but if this is how the shot starts it's definitely briefs. There's no material on his left leg and the wardrobe department wouldn't let them shoot if his underwear was riding all the way up. It's their job to fix stuff like that before they say action and I'm certain the wardrobe PAs on a Marvel movie are pretty good at their jobs. God bless.

  2. I've seen it twice now, and it appears they're plain old bunched up boxers, to me.

  3. Anyone whose seen the film and doesn't lack vision issues can see they are trunks or boxer-briefs bunched up on camera.

    1. If they were white I'd pretend they were briefs but they are probably trunks.

  6. with as tight at the material is & as much leg is showing, they're defiantly not boxerbriefs. I saw it the other day & was pleasantly surprised, givin in his 1st movie they were very baggy boxers; but then he was JUST in the boxers.
They mite be trunks, but I'm going with briefs.

  7. Trust me guys, they are trunks or boxer briefs. The leg material is too long to be briefs. The photo supplied is not the best quality since it’s just a photo taken of a screen. When you’re in the actual theater it’s much easier to tell. God I wish there was a photo of him in some actual briefs or even better tighty whities, but unfortunately we will have to keep on dreaming. Still sexy either way!

  8. His right thigh gives it away. They are trunks. Think... Tyler Posey on that skateboard. Looks like briefs sometimes, but are trunks. Still better than boxers Haha.

  10. Will honestly I'm not sure he said he doesn't wear boxers off screen. It is coasters did make fun of them for wearing boy underwear aka briefs. I guess we'll have to wait until he actually says what he wears

  11. Having finally seen the film last night (good film btw) i now think they are trunk/boxer-briefs, you can see them looking kinda scrunched. But still a massive improvement from the baggy grandad boxers from before

  12. If you look at photos online of Tom Holland from promotional move stuff, candids, his instagram or the paparazzi its very clear he's a trunks/boxer-briefs guy. There are many photos of him where he is sagging his pants and you can see 3-4 inches of boxers.

Given his own personal preference and this still from the movie it looks pretty clear that they are trunks/boxer-briefs. Looking forward to seeing the movie and confirming it in person.

  14. Would have made for a great site gag in homecoming had Ned caught him in Iron Man Underroos or had he been running in the alley changing into his suit wearing Underroos. Also would have been a great call back to Civil War.

  16. Not an official sighting but based on the 5 clips in this instagram from day 1 of filming, it's probably very likely we get lots of Tighty Whities in the upcoming season of American Horror Story! The 1984 setting + Ryan Murphy:

    1. I just realized 30 seconds into the first clip you can see Gus Kenworthy's tighty whities when he pulls up one side of his shorts! Already delivering!

  17. Tom Holland is showing brief lines in Spider-Man Homecoming, this is at the very end of the movie when he's fighting Michael Keaton in the spider-man pajama suit, so Holland wouldn't be using the thong he says he uses for the spandex suit. The time stamp for this is at 1:51:05 for those that are interested.

  18. The debate between whether Peter Parker in this scene has on briefs or boxer briefs/trunks seems to be as indecisive and controversial as whether or not a hot dog is a sandwich and whether or not pineapple belongs on pizza.

But I have to believe that he is wearing briefs in this scene. If they went to the trouble of getting him boxer briefs or trunks to wear, I would think they would want them to look like boxer briefs or trunks and not ride up, so they would just do another take and have Tom straighten them out. The fact that there’s so much of his bare leg visible makes me think that this is what the filmmakers wanted and so what they got him was briefs.

But maybe that’s just wishful thinking on my part.
