Ross Hamilton - Hot times at Montclair High

I'm sure everyone on this blog is totally familiar with Mr. Hamilton. After all he was in 3 (and only 3) of the biggest movies of the 80's! "Hot times at Montclair High," "Please don't eat the babies - as "Jimmer," and "Shock em Dead" with Traci Lords! The scene below takes place in the 1st 2 minutes of the movie. The problem is, it is followed by 90 more minutes of the movie.

Why is he walking out of his room in only underwear but carrying his bed sheet with him? Does he have a linus fixation?
